Night Hikes

Unplugged Outdoors Don’t miss the wonder waiting for you after dark.

June’s Unplugged Outdoors will be at the Humboldt County Museum at 7 PM.  It will last about an hour and cover about a 1 mile plus loop. This is a stroll of the museum grounds.  We will walk over to Dakota City Park to get a good look at the remains of 19th century grist mill. Park at the Humboldt County Museum in the west side parking lot.

  • Time: 7:00 PM
  • Who: Everyone welcome.  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This hike is shorter than usual. We will stay within 0.25 miles of the parking area.  People not used to hiking are encouraged to try this hike.
  • Cost: Free.
  • Registration: None. Check here for cancellations related to weather. In case of rain, we will walk around the inside of the museum buildings.
