History Along the Three Rivers Trail

There are plenty of places to contemplate history along the Three Rivers Trail. The trail was build on the old rights of way of the Chicago & North Western and Minneapolis and St. Louis rail lines. Some of our towns along the trail predate the rail lines; some owe their existence to the rail lines; and one moved its downtown with the coming of rails.

The Humboldt County Conservation Board is working in conjunction with the Humboldt County Museum to provide snippets of history along the trail for our trail users who like to think what came before. Send your corrections, anecdotes, and memories of the trail to info@threeriverstrail.org.
