Honor Your Loved One
Humboldt County Hospice Foundation makes it easy to plant a tree in memory or honor of your loved one at one of Humboldt County’s Parks.
Trees vary in cost from year to year and are planted in the fall to insure the best possibility of survival. Trees are usually 6-10 feet tall.
Trees are unsigned, but after planting, you may locate your legacy tree on this page.
Park kiosks encourage visitors to find memorial trees.
The exact location of the tree is chosen by the park employees, but you may request a general location, such as Lower Sheldon or the Dakota City stretch of the Three Rivers Trail.
